The past two weeks have been a whirlwind of activity with the Retreat and workshops, and I couldn't be more grateful for the journey I've embarked upon, thankful for the decision to change my career, slow down, and dive into the world of foraging.
The first Retreat was nothing short of mind-blowing, with incredible people, delicious food, positive vibes, a captivating atmosphere, and the enchanting forest that surrounded us. We shared vulnerability and self-awareness with one another, fostering a profound sense of connection.
Friday's Cordage-Making workshop was an absolute delight! We stumbled upon a new (to me) tool, green grass, which worked perfectly to create our cords. The use of Rhubarb strings produced magnificent results, and we couldn't get enough of it. One of the participants even shared her excitement about planting Rhubarb in her garden. The evening treat was a scrumptious Laccaria soup.
On Saturday, our foraging adventure was as wonderful as ever. We discovered a myriad of beautiful mushrooms, including many edibles. Our lunch in the forest was superb, surrounded by nature's embrace. In the evening, we came together to cook three different mushroom recipes, leading to an exceptionally delicious meal and a ton of fun!
Led by beautiful Mish from Gathering the Sacred, Sunday was a day for the heart, as we connected on a deeper level, exploring our vulnerabilities through beautiful embodiment circles of songs and sharing. Our connection with the forest was reignited, and together we crafted a stunning forest Mandala.
Time flew by, and before we knew it, everyone had to depart, leaving us with a craving for more. The experiences shared during these two weeks have been unforgettable, and I'm already eager to plan more workshops and Retreats to continue this incredible journey with all of you. Thank you for making this adventure so special, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us!
Mushy love xx
